The title of the sequence of photographs is ‘Wash it off’.The theme of the images is meant to communicate the fear of showing your true feelings and feeling the need to immediately wash it off. It is uncomfortable for a lot of people to actually allow themselves to feel what they are feeling and feel the need to put up a face, as though everything is alright and that is where the title comes from. The need to wash it off, the need to be okay.

I used the following tools and software to create this piece of work:
— Adobe Lightroom
— Adobe Lightroom Classic
— Adobe Photoshop
— Cannon DSLR

I shot the images using a DSLR and used a tripod and set a timer to photograph myself. Having gone through something personally, the concept really resonated with me. I tried out a lot of concepts but decided that the final images communicated my ideas most successfully.
